On June 7, 2024, I had the immense privilege of capturing the wedding of Neila and Sami, a day filled with joy and love, held in two iconic locations in Belgium. This wedding combined the majesty of the Brussels Town Hall with the romantic charm of Château Bayard, providing the perfect backdrop for unforgettable memories.

Civil Wedding at Brussels Town Hall

The day began at the Brussels Town Hall, a magnificent 15th-century Gothic building considered a masterpiece of civil Gothic architecture and the only medieval vestige of the Grand-Place. The traditional guards added an authentic and grand touch to this solemn event.
Neila and Sami exchanged their vows in this historic setting, surrounded by their loved ones.

Outdoor Ceremony and Reception at Château Bayard

Following the civil ceremony, the newlyweds traveled to Château Bayard in a stunning Mercedes 190sl. Château Bayard, built in the 14th century and surrounded by water, is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Belgium, ideally located between Brussels and Namur. This idyllic setting was perfect for the outdoor ceremony.

The ceremony took place under the sun, featuring a tree ritual where Neila and Sami's loved ones brought soil from their home countries (Belgium, Canada, Algeria) to symbolize their unity and rooted love. This touching ceremony was followed by a sumptuous reception, orchestrated by wedding planner Bénédicte from Imaginewe.

A Memorable Day with super nice Vendors

The event was beautifully staged thanks to the collaboration of several friendly vendors: Agathe Forgue, my favorite for makeup and hair, Florian from Kwac studio for the video, Hortalisa for the flowers, Léonard for catering, and Dimasaxo for the music. The wedding concluded with a spectacular fireworks display, adding a magical final touch to this perfect day.
